Our founder, Krystel Ortiz Ramos, has always had a passion for baking and after working for 7 years as a registered nurse, she decided to embark on her dream of creating her own dessert company in 2022. During her last 3 years as a nurse , Krystel worked educating patients with chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, hearing many of them say they found it hard to resist traditional sweets and desserts. It was then that he came up with the idea of uniting his two passions: confectionery and health promotion.
Starting his own business was a process of reflection and introspection, as leaving his job at an established company to create his own business is something that many are afraid of. However, Krystel decided to take the risk and she doesn't regret it. He is very happy to be able to do what he loves and at the same time help promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
